BIOGLOW Missions
The BIOGLOW 2026-27 season (Founders Edition) robot game has 15 missions built around biodiversity. Each one below shows the official model, what scores, and which Challenge Set bags build it.
The rulebook wins
This page is a planning aid for route and trade-off decisions. Anything a referee calls comes from the official Robot Game Rulebook and the Challenge Updates published through the season - the Updates take precedence over every other document. Model images are from the official rulebook.

Where the equipment constraint applies, a mission model cannot earn points if it is touching equipment at the end of the match. It only binds the mission that carries the symbol.
Missions 13-15 share the interchangeable model dock, and where that dock sits decides mission 15's environmental bonus.
M01 Drone Survey

Launch the drone off the mat, and flip the LiDAR map so the scan marker lands in the survey area.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| Drone is no longer touching the mat | 20 |
| Bonus: the LiDAR map is completely flipped over, scan marker at least partly in the survey area | +10 |
M02 Exploding Seeds

Trigger the seed pod so the seeds fly clear of the stalk.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| Each seed no longer touching the stalk | 10 each |
M03 Flip the Rock

Flip the rock to raise the research flag, then put the rock back where it started.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| The research flag is down | 20 |
| Bonus: the rock has been returned to its original starting position | +10 |
M04 Lucky Leaves

Take leaves off the nest without knocking the katydid out of its habitat.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| One leaf completely removed, no longer touching the nest | 10 |
| Bonus: a second leaf removed too, with the katydid in its original starting position | +20 |
| If the katydid ends the match outside the leaf habitat, even partly, this mission scores zero | 0 |
M05 Reaching Roots

Extend the plant root across the forest boundary. Only one of the two conditions can score.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| a. Plant root partially extended | 10 |
| b. Plant root completely extended | 20 |

Bring the ant home without scattering the leaf fragments it carries.
| Scoring | Points |

M07 Humongous Fungus

Extend the mycelium to meet the opposing team's plant root. This is the only cross-table mission.
| Scoring | Points |
|---|---|
| The mycelium is completely extended | 20 |
| Bonus: a connection is formed between one team's extended mycelium and the opposing team's fully extended plant root (two bonuses possible; they do not need to touch) | +10 |

M08 Tangled

Untangle the vine from the tree until it drops to the mat.
| Scoring | Points |
